The Amazing Sunshine Vitamin

IMPORTANT NOTE: Carole Baggerly quotes serum levels of Vitamin D in nanograms per milliliter - this is the protocol for North America. However, if you are tested by your GP in the UK, then they will quote your D serum level in nanomoles per litre - there is a big difference between the two! Carole quotes in the video a target level of at least 40ng/ml. This is equivalent in the UK to a level of 100nm/litre. An increasing number of health care practitioners in the UK and Europe are recommending Vitamin D serum levels of between 100 and 150 nm/litre for long term prevention of numerous health issues.

Studies show that diabetes, rickets and high blood pressure in children are rising worldwide due to Vitamin D deficiency. Top global experts are now revealing startling new findings. Cedric Garland (featured in the first two videos above), the world-renowned cancer researcher and epidemiologist, claims, "Up to 75% of cancers and type 1 diabetes can actually be prevented with Vitamin D. The implications for the world's populations, especially in poor countries, is astounding."

Carole Baggerly (Executive Director of GrassRootsHealth) says... "The vitamin D movement is happening at the grassroots level - insurance is not the answer to better health. Vitamin D is at the top of the list because it's simple, effective and low cost. We now have a silver bullet to actually decrease the risk for heart disease, many types of cancer, osteoporosis, hypertension and more. The research is in, it's definitive and solid and the world needs to be informed. Unfortunately some doctors don't yet know the benefits arising from Vitamin D sufficiency and forthcoming seminars aim to address that missing piece of information."

Evidence now shows Vitamin D's important role in minimising or helping to prevent the risk of various types of cancer. Multiple research findings establish that having adequate serum levels of Vitamin D substantially lowers incidence rates for many cancers, including breast, colon, ovary, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and several others. CAUTION: Always consult your Doctor before changing your diet.
